Our Hope (A Poem Inspired by the Bible)
When darkness falls and fears take hold,
Our hearts find hope in truths foretold.
For in His Word, a light does shine,
A promise sure, a hope divine.
The prophets spoke of days to come,
Of battles fought, of victories won.
Through trials deep, our faith will grow,
For God’s great plan, we come to know.
In Christ, our anchor, firm and true,
Through storms of life, He sees us through.
The cross declares our sins erased,
In His great love, we find our place.
A hope that’s living, ever near,
It casts out doubt, it quells our fear.
Eternal life, a gift of grace,
Prepared for us in Heaven’s embrace.
So when the world seems cold and dim,
We lift our eyes and trust in Him.
For every tear He’ll wipe away,
Our hope fulfilled on that great day.
This poem is inspired by passages like 1 Peter 1:3-4 (“a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ”) and Revelation 21:4 (“He will wipe every tear from their eyes”). L
