🙏 Create in Me a Clean Heart – A Prayer of Renewal
O God,
Create in me a clean heart—
Not just dusted off or patched up,
But new, pure, whole, and true.
Wash me from the stains I’ve carried,
The hidden thoughts, the careless words,
The moments I turned from You
And trusted in lesser things.
Renew a right spirit within me—
One that longs for what You love,
That trembles at Your word,
That walks humbly and honestly before You.
Take away the hardness that creeps in—
The pride, the fear, the stubborn will.
Replace it with softness,
With holy fire, with childlike trust.
Let Your Spirit not depart from me,
Let Your joy be my strength again.
Restore to me the wonder of salvation,
The song I’ve forgotten how to sing.
You are not done with me.
You still shape, still cleanse, still call.
So here I am, Lord—
Not hiding, but hoping.
Create in me a clean heart, O God—
And make it a home where You can dwell.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
🙏 Prayer: Something More Than My Yesterdays
Lord, You are the God of beginnings and beyond.
You see not just where I’ve been — but where You’re leading me.
You know the weight of my yesterdays:
The mistakes I regret,
The wounds I still carry,
The dreams that didn’t last.
And yet, You promise more.
More mercy than my failures,
More grace than my guilt,
More peace than my past can steal.
So today, I release my yesterdays to You—
Not to forget them, but to stop letting them define me.
I am not who I was.
I am who You say I am — redeemed, restored, renewed.
Breathe into me something fresh, Lord.
A new fire. A new faith. A new purpose.
I believe You have something more than I’ve seen,
More than I’ve lost,
More than I dared to hope.
Let me walk forward with holy confidence,
Knowing that my future is not tied to my past,
But to Your promises.
Something more than my yesterdays—
That’s what I’m reaching for.
That’s what I’m trusting You to give.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
