A New Year’s Blessing
A new year dawns, a page turned bright,
A canvas fresh, washed in the light.
With hopes renewed and dreams in tow,
We step into what we don’t yet know.
The past has whispered lessons deep,
Some joys to cherish, some wounds to weep.
Yet forward calls the steadfast stream,
A time to build, a time to dream.
Resolve to love, to stand, to care,
To lift a burden, a cross to bear.
To plant good seeds, to nurture grace,
To see God’s hand in every face.
Let faith be strong, let courage grow,
Through winds of change, through storms that blow.
For in the unknown, His plan is clear,
His mercy guides each fleeting year.
This new year shines with promise true,
Another chance to start anew.
With hearts aligned to heaven’s call,
We’ll walk in faith, and give our all.
So raise a prayer, both near and far,
For peace to heal where wounds still scar.
And may this year, with joy, be blessed,
As we journey on, in His perfect rest.
This New Year’s poem is a reflection of hope, faith, and renewal, encouraging a thoughtful embrace of the coming year with gratitude and trust in God’s guidance.
