🙏 Prayer: In the Beginning Was God
In the beginning was God…
Before time ticked its first second,
Before stars were flung into space,
Before oceans sang or mountains rose—
You were there.
Complete. Whole. Holy.
You spoke, and it was.
You created not out of need,
But for fellowship.
In the beginning was God…
And now, in the middle of my need
You are here.
You hold all things together.
You whisper peace over chaos.
You bring order to confusion,
And light to every shadow.
God of the beginning,
Be God of my now.
God of creation,
Recreate in me a clean heart.
Remind me that nothing I face
Surprises You or overpowers You.
The One who shaped galaxies
Also shapes my days.
So I rest in this truth:
Before anything else was—You were.
In the beginning was God,
And still… You are.
In Jesus’ name,
